The service

Diablo Permits emails subscribers a weekly list of building permits published by Contra Costa County and the cities of Lafayette, Orinda, Hercules, Clayton, Walnut Creek and San Ramon and the towns of Moraga and Danville, along with related public contractor license information.

Price, trial and renewal

The subscription costs $89 a month, charged by card through Stripe. Your first 14 days are free. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $89 and the subscription then renews automatically every month until you cancel. We'll tell you by email before any price change takes effect.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time by replying "cancel" to any issue or emailing [email protected]. Canceling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we'll sort it out.

Using the list

The list is for your own business use. Please don't resell or republish it. If you contact homeowners or businesses using information from the list, you're responsible for following the laws that apply, including do-not-call, anti-spam and contractor advertising rules.

Accuracy

The information comes from public records and is provided as is. We work to get it right, but records can be incomplete, late or wrong, and we don't guarantee accuracy or that any permit will lead to work. Please verify anything important with the issuing agency or the license board.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.

Other terms

We're not affiliated with Contra Costa County, any city, or the Contractors State License Board. These terms are governed by California law. We may update them; if we make a material change, we'll email subscribers before it takes effect.
